6:30 am, but everyone is still sleeping. The kids have been up a bit late in the last few days. Our trampoline arrived so there is a sort of festive mood in the air. The Scales and Malinowskis both visited this weekend. The weather's been gorgeous. The new pup is really fitting in. It's been an amazing week to have off-- just need to convince myself I deserve it :/
Last night at bed time Lena gave me the low down on the Amp world gossip. Jimmy has been getting into "ores" as a consequence of minecraft.
I have a busy week of siders, most of them I'm not looking forward to. Generally they just cause problems. They never go the way the client thinks. It's adding to my stress but it's better than being idle I suppose.
Mondays seem to be the worst for me. I think I live my weekends guilt-free, because everyone is off on the weekends and everyone is enjoying leisure activities. Jean usually works so I typically have a slate of activities to meet with the kids-- we're busier now than this winter. But today is Tuesday so I'm I'm feeling a bit more relaxed. The 134 books aren't moving AT ALL. IDK what that means but it makes me nervous. Things are supposed to improve as we move away from winter.
People are starting to hang out again. We're still waiting on our vaccines. We check almost everyday but no luck yet. I have plans to go to two bars this weekend, we'll see how that goes.
i hope you please have the kinda trampoline with a net surrounding it to be safe
ReplyDeletepeople don't give themselves permission to not work because parents don't live with us to tell us when we deserve a break and don't have to feel bad... if your dad is not there to tell you to get off your butt you still have that echo of a feeling like you need to be working on something and you can stress yourself out punishing yourself unnecessarily ... it is okay to give yourself permission to rest beyond sleep because self care matters but nobody goes around giving out world peace trophies if you give yourself a break so you don't know when you deserve it but balance in life has work and play while you're awake and rest to recharge but alot of people forget about care beyond rest like making time for artistic expression because your soul needs it and then inspires you with energy and then you work again on tasks with all this renewed energy... it's like when you're thirty they say that means you already needed water before the point of thirst and care is the same... if you're wondering or beating yourself up about how much work you seem to do or not do it's totally the universe being like chillax.. the universe still says stuff like chillax
the universe also has like the spiderverse lol and star man
lol how'd that get in there?

Deleteas a parent you're the manager of others as well as your own work stress and leisurely fun levels and care schedule by eating right working out drinking enough water taking vitamins and getting good sleep and fresh air and sunshine each day and making sure you're fit to carry the weight for the whole family because you are feeling good and strong and rested and ready to provide so you have to keep yourself healthy and happy
ReplyDeletesometimes it's like it's easier to pick up the extra work like some people it's easier to accept more burden but then when life gives you these blips of free time you know you should be using to your advantage to help add to comfort and savings it makes you punish yourself the whole time you're meant to rest alittle
you know not to let things get bad and you know you have a supportive partner and that the money will always be there for the earning so give yourself a rest and then get some more work money and keep healthy and always be looking for opportunities and life will always provide so keep yourself healthy enough to continue to provide for years and you got this :):):)
